Rutgers Food Innovation Center’s Submission to Governor’s Future of Work Task Force Request for Research Proposals Selected for Funding

Trenton, NJ – December 2018

The Governor established a Future of Work Task Force (headed by the new Chief Innovation Office) and a request for proposals to examine the future of work in various sectors was announced in early November.  The FIC's submission, titled The Impact of Automation and Smart Technology on the Workforce and Economic Growth of the NJ Manufacturing Industry: The Food Manufacturing Sector as a Case Study, was selected. The organization will receive $2,500 for a 10 page report.  This will be part of a state level report on workforce.
